Basic Communication Skills

if I were to first meet someone, I would tell them my name, the grade I am in, and how old I am. I would tell them these, because they are important things to know, yet they are subtle . They don't give out too much information either. I would also ask the person I was meeting what was their name, the grade they were in, and their age. I would ask them this to get a small understanding for who the person is and how we might be alike in some ways. these include same age, same grade, or maybe even same name.

I have black hair and brown eyes. I used the colors that I used because I wanted by line art to be very similar to my photo. I emphasized by self the way that I did because that is just how I look and I would't really want to change it. My background is turquoise because that is my favorite color and it represents someone who is creative and sophisticated. It was a challenge to do the lips because for some reason the pen tool would move all the lines when I connected them. I also learned how to use the pen tool as well. I was very proud of how it turned out because I thought it was going to look very bad. I have seen line art in some coloring apps were they give you the outline of things and you color them in.
05/15/2018 -Resume
The initial amount of time an employer takes to review an applicant’s resume is 15-20 seconds minimum and 45 seconds at the most. I need a resume because it helps me get interviews leading to getting a good job. Contact information such as name, address, phone number, and email should always go on the header of a resume. The purpose of an objective is to allow your employer to know what position your are interested in. The most recent events should go first then the less recent events. The assignments connects to the real world because they are needed for interviews. I think that I will need a resume in the future when I decide that I want to get a job. A resume is not necessarily needed to get a job, it is more needed to obtain an interview which can lead to a job.

The illusion that is seen is that there is a face facing frontwards and one facing to the side. I have seen these types of illusions on eye catching posters and more.
05/18/2018 - On the Cover
I included the text that I did because it had many facts about me. I used the colors grey, red, black, and blue because it went well with my picture. I only changed the font and size for key words. This assignment is used in magazines around the world. Designers would create this on Photoshop or other apps in order to hook the reader into reading the magazine. I have seen these in many magazines and newspapers.
05/29/2018 - Typography: Graduation Invitation
I knew that typography was the type of font used, prior to this unit. Now I learned that as well as the type of font that is used, typography also has to do with the feeling that it conveys. In this project, I applied typography by using two font that go well together and seeing if they convey a welcoming invitation. The type of careers and businesses that use typography are invitation making companies, business cards, and engraving companies. I met the expectations for this project by meeting all of the requirements. Industries that use typography are fast food restaurant signs, school; signs. posters, websites, and more.
