In our team, we didn't necessarily have a leader. I don't think that it would have helped if we did, because sometimes when you have a leader, you feel as if you can't input any ideas because you don't want them to think that you are taking over the whole project. We all helped and we all had equal roles in building, organizing, helping, and more.
Collaboration was okay during this process because we all already knew each other and were comfortable with giving ideas. I do think that everyone's ideas were well received, although there was only a few ideas that we actually had. I was surprisingly very patient because I knew that even if we didn't win, we tried hard. In our group, all of our teammates were included, as I said before, we had equal roles.
Our team kind had a plan. I gave then suggestion of doing the tower with a tepee base and after, everyone agreed that it would be a good idea. Amazingly, our plan worked, and we won the challenge! We never veered from the plan, we just stuck to it and tried our hardest. Everything that we did worked perfectly and when we did have problems, we had very good teammates that were able to resolve them. Such as when our tower was kid of leaning, Samantha told us that we should put more tape to secure the top and bottom part together, and it worked.
I learned that I can me patient, have teamwork, and come up with solutions to a problem faster than I though I could. I feel that I could possibly be a leader, but I would have to know everyone in my group so that it doesn't feel like I am trying to be bossy. I think that I do work well in groups, specially when I know my teammates. I sometimes get frustrated under pressure, but I know that I can still work well under pressure. I could work on maybe being a little bit more confident in what our group can do and has to offer.
